21st June 2006. Shocking day.
My house was flooded by the heavy rain in the evening. It all started with the dark miserable clouds taking over the clear blue sky at about 3 o'clock, before the filthy water came pouring down. At that time, I was still making snapshots of Paris Hilton's latest 'sex' video (which will be discussed later), and then i felt some water leaking through the ceiling. It's the first time. A very negative feeling struck me, and as I turned to my right, water gushed through the open links between the rooftop and the ceiling, onto the pillars next to my computer. I panicked, and quickly switched off the computer. My mind went blank of what to be done next for a moment, before running to my mom to tell her about the 'yin' situation that was happening. It really took me by surprise, since it had never happened before. I was dumb enough to think that my house was gonna collapse any moment.
The aftermath.
1. Flooded balcony a.k.a. my study room. Some magazines piled up on the floor is wet. A part of the carpet is wet. The walls were leaking too.
2. A new layout fo my room. Shifted my computer table to a safer place. Now the study room becomes a living/store room.
Hmm, got a call from my mom through the phone just now. She's checking on me again, as usual. Maybe checking isn't the right word, more of... she wants to know what I'm doing, where I'm at, etc. Had a little talk on her on computers and contact lens. She warned me about the consequences of both things. First, she said that internet can drive someone crazy, as she read it from the newspaper that a computer geek kille his mom for being over obsessive with pc games. Well, I will never ever do that. Can hardly believe that my mom actually thought that I'm not sound enough to think wisely as a ninteen year old. Onto the contact lens, she just advised me to take good care of the cleanliness of the lens before putting them onto my eyes in avoidance of bacteria infection. Well, sometimes I am a bit lazy to wash of the lens and stuff, but heck, I'm mroe careful now as the cases of eye infection are soaring these days. Still remember the case of Alicia. And the case of um... braunch and lombs solution? Is that how the brand name is spelt?
Went to California Fitness today. While I was preparing myself to leave the place after a warm bath, suddenly I heard something familiar, and rather surprising being aired on the radio. It was Ms. Paris Hilton's debut single, called Star Are Blind. First, her sex tape was accidentally distributed all over the net. Then her fame grew as she starred in A Simple Life. Ok, sex tape: hit. TV reality show: hit. After that, she crossed over to movies. Don't y'all remember her lame slutty character in House of Wax ? Movie: hit. And finally, she's competing in the music industry as well. With a song like Star Are Blind, I doubt that it'll be her breakout hit single. The song is just... fine to me, but doesn't deserve much airplays and complements. Critics should be hard on it. Watching the video very much reminded me of the of the late pop-princess-turned-mother Britney, a.k.a. Mrs. Federline. I jsut spot a lot of similarities of between Paris's video with Britney's Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know. Well, except, Britney did it better than Paris. If Britney reaches a hotness of 5/5, Paris hits only 3/5.
